Lunigiana is a very picturesque area ideal for touring or relaxing in delightful surroundings. The rhythm of the seasons still rules here and offers you the possibilities to have a full immersion in a real way of life, you will experience a very relaxed tempo of a century ago, calm and unhurried.
The property is surrounded by miles of woodland where you can enjoy long walks, if you want with a guide (that is my husband) and the whole area is a patchwork of medieval hilltop villages which are all worth a visit. The area makes a good base for touring as it is within easy driving distance of many famous places including 5 Terre, Lerici, Portovenere, Lucca or Pisa (one or two hours max).
